From the Middle Ages to the future, Lizori as an international experimental model

6-9 February 2019

From the Middle Ages to the future, Lizori as an international experimental model of architectural recovery.

Organised by the Faculty of Engineering of Bergamo, the Politecnico di Milano and the Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK) – the research body of the Autonomous Province of Trento operating in the field of science technology and humanities – from 6 to 9 February 2019, the 8th “3D Virtual Reconstruction and Visualization of Complex Architectures” took place at the Campus Sant’Agostino of the University of Bergamo.

On the occasion of this international workshop, a poster on the results of the work carried out in June 2018, during the Summer School concerning the survey of the architecture of Lizori and its digital modelling, was presented on 6 February 2019; the study summer was promoted by the Antonio Meneghetti Scientific and Humanistic Research Foundation (www.fondazionemeneghetti.ch), the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Perugia and Intbau-Italia (International Network for Traditional Building, Architecture & Urbanism). Besides being presented during the 8th “3D Virtual Reconstruction and Visualization of Complex Architectures” poster session, it was also the object of a peer-reviewed publication on the ISPRS journal.
